Hi all,
I have been passed the note below from one of our trusted advisers. This is the last week of the HBOS Reading trials so I will be in London for the rest of the week but back in the evenings. Any details sent regarding the request for information will be passed to the advisers in confidence on a daily basis when I get back from Court. Please make sure you add contact details so the advisers can get directly in contact with you. Hopefully I will be in a position to say much about the Reading trials some time next week and dependant on how long the jury take to reach a decision. Best wishes to all. Nikki URGENT NOTE FROM SME ALLIANCE ADVISER #RBS ‘Advisers from the SME Alliance have been talking to and meeting with journalists this week interested in investigating allegations of banks within the RBS Group producing false documentation in either DSAR’s, meetings or even potentially at disclosure in litigation. If any members have evidence of such documents whether they be loan or facility documents, central file documents, file notes or the like that they suspect are not genuine could you please contact the SMEA in confidence and provide the relevant documents if possible. Information will not be provided to journalists unless express permission is provided however, the SMEA’s advisers will need to examine the documents and allegations and we would like as much evidence as possible to establish that despite the FCA’s statements otherwise such malpractice is systemic within sections of the RBS Group.’ [email protected]
